C10 Coin Validator – Abberfield Technology Pty Ltd

Designed new C10 coin validator electronics to validate Australian and NZ currency coins.
Responsibility for hardware and firmware development, and integration testing.
Uses 80C51 processor. Firmware written in C and assembler.
Processor controls coin validation, load activation, personality programming, and includes self test modes.
Configurable in a wide variety of modes to suit many applications including vending machines, car parking systems, sportsground floodlighting and other coin vending applications.
Wrote Windows software in C++ to allow the validator to be tested and configured in production.
Product will be manufactured locally.
Designed for medium volume manufacture.
